Things to remember yearly
- NFPA Physicals and SCBA Fit tests are required and need to be updated yearly, try to do this in your birth month to make it easy to remember.
- HIPPA and infection control videos / online classes must be reviewed.
- Bullying / sexual harrasment videos need to be watched.
- Fill out a gear Inventory Form
Less Frequent updates
- CPR certs are good for two years before renewal.
- Keep up to date with CE's for NREMT so you don't have to re-test. NREMT is good for 2 years and Virginia EMT is valid for 4 years before a retest is required.
